About Owner Jenny Rieger
Jenny’s passion for the outdoors stems from childhood hiking and camping trips, and she can’t remember a time when she wasn’t fascinated by growing things. Helping her parents manage their heirloom fruit orchards in Northern California was the genesis of her career as an ornamental horticulturist with a comprehensive knowledge of native plants. This early training instilled a heightened environmental sensitivity in Jenny, which has resulted in Columbine’s continued emphasis on drought-tolerant plants. Read more
